The voting age has been reduced from 21 years to 18years by 61st Amendment

The Creation of Khalsa took place at Anandpur Sahib on the 1st Baisakhi i.e. 13th April, 1699 A .D.

14.Banda Bahadur was born 27 Oct 1670. His real name was Lachman Dev or Lachhman Das. Once during hunting an arrow of Banda Bahadur struck a pregnant she deer Banda Bahaur was greatly pained to see the tragic death of the deer and its two kids.He renounced the world and became a
Bairagi. Banda Bahadur adopted the name Madho Das after becoming a bairagi. Madho Das (Banda Bahadur) met Guru Gobind Singh. He said ,”I am your Banda (Servant) thus Madho Das became Banda.GuruSahib called him Banda the Brave . Thus acquired the name ‘Banda Bahadur’.
15.SharomaniGurdwara prabandhak committee was established on 15th Nov,1920 at Akal Takhat Amirtsar.

HISTROY
Buddism : Buddhism was founded by Gautam Buddha. His original name was Gautam Siddhartha, a Kahatriya –Born in 1563 B.C. at Lumbini in Nepal. He attained enligtenment at Bodhgaya under papal tree. Buddha died at the age of 80 yrs in 483 B.C. at Kusinagar (District).He came to be known as Mahavira or Jina, The conqueror of passing ; his followers was known as Jainas. He passed away at age of 72 in 462 B.C. at Pavapuri , a place near modern Rajgir.
